The Framework will replace a contract which is expiring and will be available for use by the following Commissioners who make up the Partnership: - Nottinghamshire County Council - Nottingham City Council - NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICELS is the mechanism by which Community Equipment is ordered, loaned, delivered collected and maintained across Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County. The ICELS provides maintenance and safety checks in line with national guidance and makes provision for facilities to demonstrate equipment. The service also provides minor adaptations work. The aim of the ICELS is to enable clients and/or their carers to access a range of equipment and minor adaptations according to assessed need. A fundamental principle of the service is to promote and enable individuals to continue living independently and in their own homes.
