The FCA is with a range of providers and is used to purchase both individual placements and also to run mini-competitions to award block contracts.This opportunity is a re-opening of the FCA to allow additional providers to apply to join the FCA (Stage 1) and also a mini-competition for Pathway 2 Nursing and Dementia Respite beds (Stage 2). New providers must complete Stage 1 but Stage 2 is optional. Existing providers do not need to re-complete Stage 1.The FCA will run until 30th September 2026 with options to extend for up to 24 months plus 24 months. The Council does not commit to any volumes through the FCA.
