The duty to manage asbestos is directed at those who manage non-domestic premises: the people with responsibility for protecting others who work in such premises, or use them in other ways, from the risks to ill health that exposure to asbestos causes. A contract is required to manage the removal of Asbestos from Council-owned premises. We do not have the in-house ability or facilities to undertake these statutory tasks in-house and therefore it was necessary for us to go to the External Market in order for the Council to comply with its statutory obligations. The contract value is a approximate estimated spend over a four year term. The value will depend on the works identified. ## CPV classification Asbestos removal services Source Find a Tender (UK) · Notice ocds-h6vhtk-03729f-2022-10-04T09:23:20+01:00 [View official notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/ocds-h6vhtk-03729f-2022-10-04T09:23:20+01:00) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
