The whole family approach to recovery should become embedded within all treatment and recovery services. Due to the diverse scope of this service a bid from a consortium would be welcomed. The commissioned service will also develop innovative responses and work alongside families and wider communities to engage with families who need support as a result of their loved ones’ substance use whether that be past or present. The commissioned service will need to have a close working relationship with both statutory and voluntary organisations.
