A robust evaluation of these programmes was an explicit HMT condition of their funding of the programme in a 2018 autumn budget settlement. The funding will provide WWCSC with staffing and project funding, which will be used in accordance with the evaluation design for each programme and in accordance with the WWCSC aims and objectives to close the evidence gap in the sector.
