The overall requirement is that children will be placed with families who have been assessed and approved to provide a secure, warm, safe and supportive environment in which they can develop in all aspects of their lives. Providers will be registered as an Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) and will be governed by the Fostering Services Regulations 2011 and any subsequent changes. The service will be regulated and inspected by Ofsted. Provision must be rated requires improvement or better.
