Newham Council intends to commission high quality universal and targeted youth services that builds the skills of our young people, engage them in inclusive activities and prevent escalation of any negative issues in young people's lives. The mayor is committed to growing our own youth empowerment function and providing a Partnership-led Borough wide Newham Youth Offer. The Council's Corporate Plan sets out the intention to develop a high quality, co-produced youth offer that provides a varied and inclusive range of activities. There are more than 90 000 children and young people living in Newham and the Mayor's vision is that children and young people should have access to the best youth service in London and as such provided significant investment to dram.
