One of the main challenges associated with the UK's (and global) energy sector, in the medium term, is to decouple fossil fuels from the increasing demands for energy while ensuring supply chain security. The initial brief of the executive will be to: Phase (1) Produce a viable 5-year business plan and pitch deck; Phase (2) Bring together the required collaboration team for producing a demonstrable minimum viable product; Phase (3) Support preparation of company spin-out approval documents to present to University exec board ### Phase (4) Complete the formation of the Spin-out - Act for the company in the spin-out legal process and address all company formation matters;\] - Obtain founder academics and University approval for appointment as CEO. Phase (5) Secure (venture capital and other) funding. Produce the funds by which the new start-up company can consider employing the executive going forward.
