The Requirement: The Supplier must arrange, undertake and record approximately 50 quality-assured Medical appraisals with DVLA Doctors within a 12 month timescale. Drivers Medical Group within DVLA currently employs 40 DVLA Doctors, 2 Junior Doctors and 1 Senior Medical Advisor (SMA) but this number is likely to increase over the life of this contract. The DVLA has indicated that approximately 50 quality assured Medical appraisals will be required on an annual basis but cannot guarantee minimum or maximum volumes.
