The Lower Thames Crossing is part of the biggest investment in the UK roads for a generation. It consists of a proposed new All Purpose Trunk Road connecting the A2/M2 in Kent, crossing under the Thames through a twin-bored tunnel before joining the M25 south of Junction 29. This Prior Information Notice ('PIN') is to alert parties that National Highways wishes to commence pre-procurement market engagement and consultation, to inform the development of National Highways' procurement strategy for OCIP.
