The contract will involve the supply and maintenance of 38 Parking Payment Terminals in Swale at sites designated in the specification. The contract shall commence on 11th April 2022 and terminate on 10th April 2029. The council may extend the opportunity for repair and maintenance on an annual basis via mutual written agreement thereafter until the units are replaced up to 7 years. This is due to the successful supplier being the only company able to service their own machines, and the machines themselves having an undefined lifecycle (between 7-15 years, dependent on modular components, software and market developments). The tenderer/s who submit/s the Most Economically Advantageous Tender, (MEAT) will be awarded the contract. Expressions of Interest and the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document must be submitted / uploaded on the Council's e-tendering portal.
