The CCG are direct awarding a contract to Solent Medical Services Ltd from 1st April 2022 for 12 + 12 months at a total of £2,395,480 including the extension option. This direct award of a new contract is effectively an extension to the current service under the same terms, which was awarded through an legally compliant, open procurement process. The provider has been delivering an effective service evident through KPIs and contract monitoring. The service extension is needed for work to be undertaken to prepare for the ICS structure changes currently going through legislative process.
