The University wishes to regularise the position of these employees. Initial assessment of its 3,500 fte staff identified around 20 individuals who work in foreign countries under various arrangements of greater than 6 months to permanently. This can be on a temporary or permanent basis and some of these employees also work a small part of their time in the UK.
