The objectives are that dementia daytime opportunities: - Are high quality, person-centred and flexible. - Offer meaningful and interesting activity for attendees through providing an individual experience within a group setting. - Delay deterioration by helping people to stay as independent, healthy, active, and happy as possible for as long as possible. - Reduce social isolation, increase and maintain wellbeing by helping (re)build a connection to community. - Help attendees maintain their social and everyday skills. - Help attendees and their family carers cope with some of the difficulties around dementia and memory loss. - Give family carers a break and provide them with support.
