The nursery entrance is located in Connor Road near to the corner with Holyhedge Road. The nursery has been operated since opening by the Governing Body of Pennyhill Primary School. The nursery has always had a good reputation and has regularly had a waiting list for places. The only Ofsted inspection of the nursery resulted in a judgement of 'Outstanding'. More recently however, the school have found it increasingly difficult to manage the nursery financially and to recruit a new nursery manager. The school itself has other pressures to address and hence the Governing Body made a decision to ask the local authority to go out to tender to find an alternative provider to run the nursery. The school are committed to a positive working relationship with the new provider. Contract term is 5 years + optional 5 year extension.
