The Council is encouraged to divert waste away from landfill so that it can be reused or recovered. It is anticipated that approximately 40 tonnes of commercial waste will be available per week for the first 12 months of the contract, however the Authority cannot guarantee that these volumes will not be reduced or be in excess of these anticipated amounts. During busy periods such as Christmas and New Year these volumes will be exceeded and bidders are invited to submit a rate for tonnage in excess of 100 tonnes a week. ## CPV classification Refuse incineration services Waste transfer station Refuse and waste related services Non-hazardous refuse and waste treatment and disposal services Source Find a Tender (UK) · Notice ocds-h6vhtk-02c428-2021-07-06T12:15:03+01:00 [View official notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/ocds-h6vhtk-02c428-2021-07-06T12:15:03+01:00) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
