The Imaging service reflects the needs of teaching hospital and district general hospital environments and imaging modalities include CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Radio-nuclide Imaging and therapy, Mammography, General 'plain film' imaging, DXA scanning, ultrasound and laser treatment. We aspire to be an innovative and high quality imaging department and are proud of the QSI accreditation that we obtained for the imaging department across both sites in2019. In order to provide our imaging service we require certain services provided by medical physics. The needs are currently covered under three contracts with different providers.
