Information relating to potential solutions is ideally sought from interested parties who have existing infrastructure already in place to deliver waste transfer services in this area, but KCC would also consider opportunities where land is available or can be acquired for such provision. For the avoidance of doubt, where there is land/build opportunity, a contract for the operation of waste transfer services (including haulage) could be arranged/procured separately by KCC. Organisations that may be able to deliver these services on behalf of KCC, either in full or in part, are invited to complete a ‘Market Engagement Questionnaire’ and send their response to by 12:00 (midday) on Friday 23 July 2021. Responses to this questionnaire will be used to inform KCC’s strategy for commissioning these services; KCC may contact organisations directly to discuss/clarify their response to this questionnaire where necessary for this purpose.
