The Service must be fully hosted, must be accredited by the DBS and must provide for the following: - A basic DBS check, which shows unspent convictions and conditional cautions. - A standard DBS check, which shows spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings. - An enhanced DBS check, which shows the same as a standard check plus any information held by local police that’s considered relevant to the role. - An enhanced DBS check with barred lists (child), which shows the same as an enhanced check plus whether the applicant is on the list of people barred from doing the role. - An enhanced DBS check with barred lists (adult), which shows the same as an enhanced check plus whether the applicant is on the list of people barred from doing the role. - An enhanced DBS check with barred lists (both), which shows the same as an enhanced check plus whether the applicant is on the list of people barred from doing the role. - A DBS adult first check. - The functionality for relevant documents to be checked and verified by a partner organisation such as, but not necessarily, the Post Office. - Route 2 external validation identity checks for DBS applicants not able to produce Route 1 documentation.
