The specification relates to the delivery of an extra care service for up to five (5) individuals in the Port Talbot area. The Council recognises that the accommodation is a longer term scheme which will include some elements of recovery and maintaining independence for people with a learning disability and/or with mental health needs, and is a jointly funded service between Neath Port Talbot Council and Swansea Bay University Health Board. The contract period is for 5 years with the option to extend up to a further 3 years subject to mutual agreement and performance.
