The main delivery of these products will be for the Core Valley Lines including City & Penarth Lines (CVL) but may also be on any Wales and Boarders rail network project as appropriate. The materials are required to facilitate the electrification of the CVL. The CVL electrification is required to provide a more efficient and faster rail infrastructure and to support the wider CVL upgrades & enhancements and a new rolling fleet.
