In-centre Haemodialysis is provided across fives sites; Salford, Wigan, Bolton, Oldham and Rochdale. Plans are underway to replace the Rochdale site with a new site in Heywood by the end of 2022. This may or may not form part of the scope. The current service manages the West Sector of Greater Manchester, which has a population of around 1.5 million, with approximately 450 dialysis patients between the units, and approximately 50 patients dialysing at home.
