The current proposals equate to circa 2,450 m2 with UHI acquiring circa 1,100m2, HIE acquiring circa 1,000m2 and a central shared facility of circa 350m2. Associated parking provision, service areas and external storage facilities are provided. It is expected that the NEC4 ECC Option A contract will be awarded in March 2021 with a completion date of no later than June 2022. The budget currently available to deliver this contract is between GBP8,500,000 and GBP9,000,000 excluding VAT. HIE is conducting this procurement on behalf of itself and UHI.
